Behind the Easel 

Artworks by Edward James Art are created by Zoe Louise. A self-taught contemporary artist based in the Welsh valleys. Zoe began painting after her youngest son passed away, it was a way of expressing feelings and finding peace with the world again. When Zoe's not painting she spends her time creatively home educating her other 3 children.

Using unique textures and mark-making techniques in mixed media paintings, as well as using her hands and other unconventional tools. Each painting is a one-of-a-kind piece, with even the texture pastes being handmade for each artwork. Works by Edward James Art are inspired by everyday life and our surroundings. Finding the beauty in all moments of life and telling stories through color and texture. Every piece is filled with layers of love and signed in Edward's honor.
